Forestry Engineer and Ph.D. in Environmental and Forest Sciences from the Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. Master in Biodiversity Conservation by the Tropical Agronomic Center of Investigación y Enseñanza (CATIE, Turrialba, Costa Rica). He has 28 years of professional experience in conservation projects, protected areas, forest restoration, environmental services, landscape planning, public policy, bioeconomy, financial solutions for environmental assets and multi-sector dialogues, having worked for local, national and international organizations. Author of three books and dozens of chapters and articles.
