Specialist in Business and Human Rights
Raquel is a professional in business responsibility with vast experience in companies and human rights. She worked in the mining sector for 10 years, where she led several initiatives to implement the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, engaging stakeholders in the areas of procurement, law, operations, health safety environment and community, risk management, security, investor relations, finance and community relations. She was senior manager of ethical trade at Zalando, where she was responsible for the social compliance program in the supply chain. She was an independent consultant for Zalando as well, helping to develop its human rights strategy and compliance program.
She has a master’s in business administration from Getulio Vargas Foundation and graduated from a production engineering program at Federal University of Santa Catarina.
