Simone is an experienced international professional with a consolidated history in human rights and humanitarian aid in over 20 countries. She has experience in strategic advice, post-disaster reparations, project management, humanitarian assistance, policy analysis, reporting, lectures, and impact assessment and due diligence in human rights. She founded the Brazilian office of Médecins Sans Frontières and ran it for five years. She is currently a Latin America advisor to the Global Business Initiative on Human Rights and a professor of undergraduate and master’s programs at the School of International Relations in the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
Simone holds a master’s degree in international relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and a diploma in political studies from the French Institut d’Études Politiques (Science Po Paris).
