Dulce is the leader of Proactiva’s Sustainability and Sustainable Finance units and focuses on development, risks, and ESG indicators for sustainable finance projects. She has 15 years of experience in sustainability, climate change, and agriculture. Prior to joining Proactiva, Dulce was an expert at the United Nations Foundation, where she actively participated in the development of globally adopted sustainability indicators for biofuels, such as the Roundtable for Sustainable Biofuels and the Global Bioenergy Partnership. She led the Institutional Development Department of the nongovernmental organization Conservation International in Brazil and was project director of the Brazilian Rural Society, where she led in the areas of sustainability, sustainable finance, innovation, and technology.
Dulce has a master’s in environmental and energy management from George Washington University, with a spealization in business and management from Getulio Vargas Foundation, and a bachelor’s in administration with a focus on foreign trade from Positivo University.
