Having worked as a lawyer, Julia has experience in consulting and advising companies in the areas of civil, business and labor law, dealing with advisory and litigation issues.
She also has an academic career, performing the activities of University Professor since 2019. She develops her research area in migration, climate and environment issues, focusing on themes from the perspective of Business and Human Rights. She has worked in research and extension projects at the Sérgio Vieira de Mello Chair (UNHCR/UFGD) and at the Human Rights Clinic at PUCPR.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD), having attended part of her undergraduate course at the Universidad de Léon (ULE), in Spain, a master’s degree in Borders and Human Rights from the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD), and a doctoral student in Law Social and Environmental by the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR).
